BBC4 , SAD TO SEE IT DUMBING DOWN

Wednesday night's schedule wouldn't look out of place on channel 4. Way over obsessed with music docs now...the quality of the programmes seems to be on a downward spiral too.

It is difficult to differentiate Beeb4 from Beeb2. Having said that I think BBC4 has done a good job. It's remit was to put out arts dcoumentaries, science documentaries, music and foreign drama and I think it has done that well.
It has regular arts documentaries. The music output is good and I have seen some great foreign imports such as the Killing, Borgen, The Bridge as well as other imports such as Inspector Montalabano which I have enjoyed.

It's not really dumbing down........but there are lots of repeats of those music documentaries.
