Shock, horror!

A hundred business leaders declare support for the Tories.
Well, given these business leaders tend to be in favour of low corporate taxes, no extra taxes on the rich directors whose salaries have soared during the recession, no limitations on the insecurity of zero hour contracts, no increase in the minimum wage, no controls on the free market, I guess it is hardly surprising they are supporting the Tories.
Well done, Ed Miliband, you are clearly doing something right, if this lot is against you!

You know Labour is going back to his roots when all of business hate them The Labour Party has never been the business party( even though Blair wanted it to be) it has always been and always should be the workers party. I thought Frances O Grady was excellent on Daily Politics today by the way under fierce questioning by tory Andrew Neal.

Yeah, I saw the programme too. What separates Frances O'Grady from the Labour and Tory politicians on the programme is that she actually answers the question asked.
It gets very, very tedious when the representatives of political parties get asked a very simple question and instead of answering they robotically go all around the houses spouting out the catchphrases, "long term economic plan", "cost of living crisis" etc. etc.

That Labour Party hasn't been the "workers' party" for over 20 years. Blair & Co. turned them into the "luvvies' party" in the '90s and that's what they remain today. Far too many posh lawyers, professional politicians and champagne socialists.
Just imagine if John Smith had lived, we would never have had Blair (at least not as PM).

Ya been listening to Osborne too much, Arge. The trade gap last year was the worst it has been since the first year the Tories were back in, in 2010.
So much for "rebalancing the economy".
Well, at least there are plenty of zero hour contracts and hotel work on a self employed basis knocking around!

Milk Tray Man, Labour went rightwards under Blair even though did some great great things regarding the NHS and schools. Miliband is way to the left of Blair , why do you think all the blairites have been hatching plans and slagging him off for months. They would rather Cameron won than Milband.

Then if Labour get into power and bring in regulations, they will have to adhere to those regulations like all employers and take the consequences if they don't, I guess.
I have yet to come across a political party that is free from hypocrisy.
