It is pointless posting in threads which are three months old. Only the moderators will ever look at your posts.

alec,
a week or so ago someone suggested arranging the list of posts so that a new post to a thread brought it to the top of the list. any chance of considering this? I frequent some other boards where this config. is available and it makes it easy to keep up with "hot" threads. maybe some of the techie contributors have some suggestions about how this could be done?

ps thanks for yours and Phil and woodgnomes's hard work re this site. its an excellent resource and I get the odd laugh here now and again too.

It is being considered. Don't know when it might happen though.

Glad you like the site.

And you've made four posts since I made the above, one of them to a thread 8 months old. Another asked a question which will never be answered. With the forum software as it stands it is best to start a new thread.
