Firework (Vydra)

I have only watched the Italian version of the film, and my knowledge of Italian being pretty dysmal I was wondering about the following bit of the plot:

the class of college girls...
Did they arrive at the brothel on purpose, to get all laid, or was this accidental, i.e. some confusion with a youth hostel or similar?

Just rec'd a German-language copy of FIREWORKS by Beate Uhse.

Screencaps here

Since i couldn't find a review anywhere, i wrote my own, copied below.

This copy has unusual credits that appear about two minutes into the film. They look cheaply made and don't match anything else about the film, with a solid pink screen and light blue hippyesque lettering. They also appear immediately after what is more likely an original credit, now interrupted, with lettering superimposed on the picture, which reads: Beate Uhse-Filmverleih pr?sentiert. (See third screencap in screens linked above.) The first solid pink screen reads: BRIGITTE MAES IN... Second screen: THE LOVER GANG: Die Spezialisten -- Anrufgen?gt. Third and final credit: REGIE TOM FIRE.

See title screen here

'Brigitee Maes' and 'Tom Fire' appear to be fake credits. I couldn't find those names anywhere.

These credits obviously replaced some footage, because if you follow my description below, you'll see that some of the action is missing.

Not counting the "Beate Uhse presents" intro, the total running time is 01:14:14.

Scene 1 Anna Veruska and 2 guys
Scene 2 mousey light-brown haired gal and curly-blonde moustached bodybuilder
Scene 3 aggressive frizzy brunette and shy straight-haired blonde guy
Scene 4 Carolyn Grace and bearded blonde guy
Scene 5 Christine Black and many unknowns in oily orgy
Scene 6 Nadine Roussial and 4 guys, joined later by the entire fire brigade

Note: scenes 2 and 3 are intercut and happen simultaneously.

First we see a man in his office, with his young, adult daughter (Carolyn Grace) lifting her skirt and futzing with her undies. He shoos her away and tells her to do it somewhere else. A very fat assistant comes in and says something to the man, who he calls 'Chef' (boss), talking about 'die Diebin', a female thief. We then see the boss escorting a woman (Anna Veruska) into a large room, pointing out various items in the room, including some expensive silver objects. He excuses himself and goes back into his office. Anna looks around, and an observant viewer will notice that before the opening credits, there are two of the silver pieces on the shelf, and after the credits, one of them is gone. The credits in my version don't appear to be originals, btw -- the style doesn't match the rest of the film (see here), the title is not one of those listed at egafd, and after the credits, we've clearly missed some of the action -- the editing is too abrupt.

Two guys are confronting Anna, presumably about her stealing the silver object from the shelf, and one of them takes her handbag and looks inside. We don't see the object in her handbag, but we can assume from his reaction that it's in there. The guys are now teasing her, talking about how they're going to punish her for stealing, and eventually they force her to lie down on a table and suck them off. Anna's getting turned on and suggests they move into the living room, so they follow her. From here it evolves into a red-hot 3-way, and Anna is quite the horny bitch in heat. Cut to the office again, and Mr. Assistant is watching the action through a peephole. He says to the boss "She's just had her third orgasm!" At the end of the scene, the guys are lying exhausted on a chair and couch, and Anna gets her handbag, drops the silver object on the chair next to Mr. Moustache and leaves.

Next we see a guy walking down the street, and he notices a hand-written help wanted sign. He goes up and rings the bell, Mr. Assistant answers, and brings him in to see the boss. Boss asks the young man to drop his pants. The guy is flustered but does so, and as the boss tells him what's expected of him, the young man confesses that he knows nothing about women. The boss says in that case there's no job for him, but after a heartfelt plea, he offers the guy a job doing cleaning and maintenance work. Boss leads the guy out back, showing off his big red fire truck, and leads him down into a locker room where we see a bunch of young men changing clothes. He introduces them to the new recruit, but explains that he won't be doing the same work as the rest of them.

Cut to the upstairs, where a bunch of women are sitting around chatting, knitting, playing chess. Mr. New-recruit comes through with his mop and bucket and all the women ooh and ahh, licking their lips. The boss asks the women to have a bit of patience, the real men are on their way. The men file into the room, and each one pairs up with a different woman and starts to chat. A shirtless full-body tattooed guy tries to chat up a quiet, mousey gal, but he turns her over to a more aggressive curly-blonde bodybuilder type, who picks the gal up and carries her away in his arms. The women, seeing this, cheer and one of them excitedly says something like "Things are really happening now!"

We then get two sex scenes intercut, the first with the couple just mentioned, and another with an aggressive frizzy-haired brunette and a shy, blonde straight-haired guy. It's interesting that each couple has a dom and fem but in one the gender roles are reversed.

After a brief interlude, we see Carolyn Grace in her bedroom, masturbating, when she's interrupted by a knock on the door. She answers it to a handsome, bearded blonde worker who offers to put fresh towels in the bathroom. She's still all hot and bothered and she has no trouble seducing him. The seduction and lovemaking are languid and very artfully shot. Carolyn may not be the prettiest, but she is voluptuous and very sexy.

Cut to a bus full of college girls, including Christine Black and a gray-haired female teacher. They're dropped off in front of the brothel, they ring the bell, and as Mr. Assistant escorts them up to a hallway, the teacher is looking very nervous. Assistant goes to get the boss, who comes out and welcomes everyone, and he invites the teacher to come inside. As she goes through the doorway, he shoos the college girls upstairs, unbeknownst to their teacher. It appears boss and teacher know each other and she is looking very relieved. Meanwhile the gals are upstairs getting undressed.

Some of the girls join several now-familiar guys in a hot tub, and pretty soon we see them rubbing each other with some sort of greenish oozy clay. Then they pour oil onto one another and the orgy becomes a slithering mass of horny bodies on a big plastic sheet. The play of light reflected off their bodies makes for a very erotic and unusual group scene.

Cut to Nadine Roussial on her bed with a vibrator. Suddenly the toy stops working. She futzes with it for a minute but can't get it to work. Frustrated, she pulls out her little black phone book and makes a call. Boss sends four guys over to her place, and she goes down on all of them. Nadine is very demanding, and each one screws her in turn as she sucks and frigs the others, every now and then pulling a dick out of her mouth to shout orders at them.

After she's exhausted all four guys, another phone call is made, and the boss sends for the rest of his men. They come running downstairs, donning firemen's hats and uniforms, and all pile into the big red fire truck. We see the fire truck speeding across town, parking, and the men filing into Nadine's apartment. They line up in front of her, and the first one starts to screw her. Before long, she's surrounded by a half dozen guys still in firemen's uniforms all fondling her. The film ends with Mr. Assistant phoning the boss for more reinforcements.

I'm guessing beutelwolf probably got an answer to his original question a long time ago, but just in case anyone's still wondering, here's the answer a native German speaker gave. Beutelwolf asked:

the class of college girls...
Did they arrive at the brothel on purpose, to get all laid, or was this accidental, i.e. some confusion with a youth hostel or similar?

Answer:

A friend of a girl [i.e. one of the college students] is a callboy in that brothel, so they decide to visit the brothel. They lie to the teacher. The girls say they want to visit a museum. When they arrive the teacher recognizes the brothel, because she was a customer a long time ago. That fact isn't revealed to the class.

Thanks, appreciated.
I have known this for a while now. At the time I had only the Italian version to go by, and my knowledge of Italian is very poor.

I have just entered this film in the IAFD last night: Fireworks

We were contacted by someone who claimed that the name of Unknown Male 206471-J is Juergen Bigalke. Having never heard of the name Juergen Bigalke before, I did a Google search and this is what I found: J?rgen Bigalke - Ihr B?rgermeister 2001 f?r Falkensee.

So, is someone trying to pull a prank on us, or is there really a German actor from that period called Juergen Bigalke?

Different guy.

There really is such an actor, you might have checked the actors section first, because he is listed there.

He did actually quite a lot of films, and is one of a small group who shows up every now and then in the credits. Just last week I got hold of the German-Italian co-production Verena in Wollust, and there he was again - this time credited as Juergen Alkebig.

Being the one to have contacted IAFD, I am quite certain that the actor in question is Juergen Bigalke. He was a quite characteristic actor of that era.

Having though a lot of respect for beutelwolf's knowledge of german porn, I wonder if he could supply more precisions about the rejection of my assumption.
