Gloucester Sex Shop Story
It's really really starting to annoy me now, these moaning types. Read the quotes from the
Christians Caring for Gloucester' muppets. How infuriating that there really are people like this out there. I do have some respect for the councillor who actually bothered to find out rather then sitting on her frail arse being told what to believe by an old man in a dress or a two thousand year old book.
All I can say is that thank Christ that most of these people are old and that they'll die soon anyway, giving the world chance for improvement. (Don't thank him too loud though, he might notice.)

At least one good christian Pam Tracey had the right idea
'leave it be' ,its out of sight so hence out of mind.
The day Morals become the law I'm leaving the planet
Can you imagine 'Adultery' punishable by castration...would certainly make you think twice
cheers

Hats off to Pam Tracey, she made the effort to find out. Well done! The predictable Professional Moaners really should get out more, possibly for the first time. Imagine, though, if this carry-on was up the road, in genteel Cheltenham Spa?. I think the council should actually be given credit for not rising to, and acting upon, the usual complaints.

Yes, those sad people will die soon, but really they're irrelevant anyway. They're figures of fun in today's society - everyone used to have an indulgent snigger when dotty old Mary Whitehouse started prattling on about fornicators, the sanctity of marriage, the innocence of kiddy winkies and all that old bollocks. No one takes them seriously - except for maybe Anne Widdecome, Melanie Phillips and Simon Heffer (Who all seem slightly odd anyway.) But they have been replaced by a younger and far more dangerous generation of zealots characterised by people like Claire Short - The politically correct, public sector loving, middleclass ponces. They are infinitely more dangerous that dotty church going old biddies and retired colonels because they are taken seriously, indeed they run the media and are in government! So they can easily marginalise anyone who takes an opposite view to them - like us. Wake up freedom lovers!

Having read the article concerned, one of the councillors was objecting on the grounds that pornography and violence go hand in hand, thats why the licence should be rejected. I would like to say as a producer and film maker of Adult videos, I have never beaten, threaten, trapped, forced by pressure or other means, any of the models that I film. They willingly perform on camera freely and most importantly because they themselves want to. I think Gloucester has a case of " do as I say, dont do as I do . " Our country is surposed to be about freedom of choice, if the councillors in Gloucester dont want to visit the shop, no one is dragging them inside, but on the same level, if people want to visit it they should be allowed to.
Case rests "my lord"
