Hi,

Recently, I ordered DVDs from the website http://www.erotikdvd.biz/, whose owner seems to be the same as http://www.pornofilm-vertrieb.at/.

It was my first order and I emailed them to check they had the DVDs in stock. They confirmed me they had the DVDs, I placed the order and... double problem: I don't get any of the DVDs ordered, receiving other low-value DVDs instead, and I get overcharged.

When I contacted them about the wrong DVDs, they told me the ones I ordered were not available and that I could send the DVDs back for exchange.

When I contacted them about the overcharge on my credit card bill, they say they could not refund it but that I should let them know when I place my next order...

This is the kind of customer service I prefer to avoid.

As I said anywhere else .. Never give away your credit card number when you deal with porn ... It' s a matter of fact that this industry is not as nice as some of their actresses.

This is really generalizing a bit.

I used my credit card in Florida to place a phone call in a ATT booth, and it was used a month later for online purchase of hunting equipment.

I had the same after using a card I rarely use ( Epassporte) in a restaurant, and no I didn't eat pussy...

More online fraud is happening with the "pharmacy shit " ....

I agree with you. It is generalizing. I have been buying dvd's off the net using a credit card for two years and I have had no problems yet! The only problem I have had was with an American company selling health products and that was resolved. Lou is correct, when you use your credit card there is always a risk of fraud, but I don't believe porn distributors are any worse than any other organsation which trades via the net.
