- BIEN AU FOND DU PETIT TROU (France 1983) directed by Pierre B. Reinhard where she is the girl coming to make love whith Pedro the projectionnist in the theater cabin during the projection of a... porno movie. She is dubbed with a comic spanish accent by the post-synchronisation voice.

Actually this scene was shot in the French theater Le Brooklyn that was later bought by La Cin?math?que Fran?aise and renamed La Cin?math?que Grand Boulevard (smile).

I would like to know which movies she is supposed to have directed. As far as I know she might have directed only one, P?netrations multiples (german video release: Body Lust).

She has never directed anything dear Mark : PENETRATIONS MULTIPLES (France 1978) was directed by Mike Strong alias Pierre B. Reinhard - by the way, I am not sure if she is - without mentionning any idea of directing - simply playing in that movie. I think not according to my informations.

The Bygone text presenting this "DVD compilation" is mistaking on one point : JEUX D'ADULTES POUR GAMINES EXPERTES, MARIE SALOPE and SCRABBLE PARTOUZE are actually 3 different movies and not possibly the same one, even if, as usal, it is not impossible to find one sequence of one in the other.

Dear boa, I didn't take for granted that she directed the movie: I just said she might as "Mike Strong" was not only an alias for Reinhard, but for many directors. And in the german release of the movie she is credited as such. Still, I think that the picture with her behind a camera cannot be too casual.

Taking into account only French movies, I can assure you, dear Mark Shannon, that the pen-name "Mike Strong" was only used by P.B.R. at the end of the seventies and after...

According Monique Carrere (that I knew casually and who was very sympathetic) I must acknowledge my surprise when seeing the picture of her with a camera in her hand on the Bygone linked picture. But, once again I can assure you that, to my knowledge and according also to other French cinephiles in the same field ("of dishonor" if we can say so), we have never heard ever of any movie directed by her. She was not particularly willing to move on the other side of the lens, as did in 1991 such an actress as Laura Val?rie.

My dear boa, I can assure you that the "Mike Strong" name was also used at least by a pair of italian directors to distribute movies in France.
About MC as a director it can be possible, maybe even probable what you are saying. Still I would like to know the reason for her posing behind a camera.

Monique probably never actually directed a movie herself (maybe occasionally assisted with some productions) Mentioning her name on the Box covers is simply a commercial move. She is kind of bankable. A renowned name in the Biz, beautiful, experienced, charismatic.. all very conveniont. Naturally, she got paid for this "publicity trick"..
