It was definitely released in a hard version - I saw it in 1978 (my first porn film ever). The Swedish title was "Ta mej i lag?rn" ("Take me in the barn"). The recent German DVD release is the soft version, clearly with certain scenes re-shot for this purpose and scenes from the hardcore one missing.

Mulholand confirms that there was a hardcore version of this film. I have long suspected that one existed as during the 80's I saw a very poor quality compilation video which had a short scene with Christa Abel leading Frithjof Klausen around a farmyard by his penis. Beutelwolf suggested in a much earlier thread that it might be from 'Gaudi in der Lederhose' and I am sure he was right.
