I think you'll find that the nude shot is from a film called 'El Condor'. Cameo appearance as a Mexican peasant girl in bed with an army officer in a hotel/bordello when it is attacked by rebels. She jumps out of bed and when the rebels burst into the room she poses as in the pic and whips the covers off the bed to reveal the officer cowering beneath. He is promptly shot, of course.

Despite not being an "early pensioner", I can remember seeing Imogen Hassall in an Iris Murdoch play at Wyndham's Theatre in around 1968. Being poor students, we were up in the Gods, which paid off every time Imogen appeared in a low-cut peasant blouse. At the time, by common consent, she possessed the best boobs in Britain, which is of course why we were there. Spectacular. Great shame about her suicide.

She was a teenage dream of me and many of my friends.
Tragic.
She wasn't a bad actress either, when given the chance.

Was it ever established that it was actually suicide? I seem to remember there was some doubt about wether it could have been accidental. Lethal combination of slimming pills and anti-depressants or some such.
