Fair enough. I'm on it.
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
I must not be sarcastic
Computers are cool, aren't they?
Copying & pasting makes the teacher redundant, don't you think?
He might as well go out for a smoke; a legal smoke that is.
!laugh!

IIRC, the Dutch porn star known as Helen Duval won a legal case against her former producer Oliver Czech in 1996 (or perhaps 1997). Both claimed to have the legal right on the name. While it's true that the name is a trademark, the rights do not reside with Czech but with the Dutch female porn star who is still known as Helen Duval.
When "Helen Duval" and Oliver Czech's partnership resolved (which was pretty quick), Czech claimed he had built the name Helen Duval to a household name and he continued using it with other actresses, most notably Monique Covet.
The Dutch porn star however continued her career as well and claimed the name for herself.
I believe both sued each other and for a while the legal case held up Helen's career in the USA (she had presumably signed a contract with VCA -- she did end up making some movies for them). In the end, the Dutch porn star won and she created various incarnations of her own production company (Helen Duval Entertainment, Helen Duval Visuals, Helen Duval Media, Helen Duval Enterprise, Helen Duval Productions).
btw, the rivalry between Helen Duval and Monique Covet with regards to the name Helen Duval was later exploited by Helen Duval herself in the movie
When Helen Meets Monique.
Oh well, I'm sure many of you know all of this already and probably some of you remember more details.

It just illustrates the stupidity of attempting to exploit a personal name
for profit.
The only winners in the end, as usual, are the lawyers.
You don't see the UK brewers John Smith engaging in silly legal actions-
for obvious reasons :- )
