This is another movie, that I cannot understand why it is listed in EGAFD database.
Again it was shot in the US, in English dialogue, by a US director (Alex de Renzy) and American crew. Produced, financed, and released by a US company (VCA). There does not seem to have been any Euro involvement other than a handful of performers being Italian (Moana Pozzi and Barbarella who were just visiting, and Miss Pomodor who had been working there for a while).

it's in the FAQ
Third, a strategy has been adopted to cut down the work. Appearances by actresses which are already listed on iafd in general have not been included. This in practice means American films and Private releases. There are a few exceptions to this, usually where it is useful to list an alternative title in another language; when a European film, by some quirk, is listed on iafd; or when an actress has made a very limited number of appearances in American–made films and it was easy to include them, e.g. a few films of Marilyn Jess.

As I've previously pointed out part of that 'mission statement'
has already been revised, regarding Private titles.
During my brief stint assisting [the much-missed] Walter in
trying to spiffy up iafd's Euro record-keeping we batted this
back and forth considerably. I concluded that since W was at
the time the only iafd mod with broad expertise [or, indeed,
any great interest] in Euro girls a strategy ought to be developed
to bring all essentially Euro titles under the one aegis- in
this regard one might for example legitimately seek to include
earlier volumes of the 'Assman' series, for example- shot
entirely in Europe, with an entirely Euro female cast. This would
enable direct comparison of currently-unidentified girls without
recourse [in my case] to three different sets of data, each
with their own set of unique errors [or opinions, if you prefer].
Since W now seems, regrettably, out of the picture for the
foreseeable future due to 'work/life balance' pressures egafd
would seem better-placed than iafd to undertake the task.

Interesting observation JJ.
If you are going to open up a database to include titles (continental or not) then there should not be such aberrant and puzzling exceptions as MALIBU SPICE, VROSSING OER aor others than have not been mentioned.
I have been saying this for ages. List ALL titles, even if you do not wish to open (for public view) a specific title card for that movie (make it non clickable if you like, but put it there, so you do not have to go back and forth checking 3-4 databses to try to determine what a performer has done in Europe, US or anywhere else).

'Malibu' etc. only seem aberrant at the moment because they
are few in number. With time and the gradual addition of similar
titles the apparent anomaly would vanish.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'ALL' in para. 2- but at a guess
I assume you are making the case for the inclusion of, say, all
of Jane Darling's titles, US- and Euro-made. This was Walter's
ultimate aim for iafd- although I understand there was heated
discussion amongst the mods there about the qualification of
non-US-available titles [sound familiar?]. I doubt very much if
this idea would fly with the mods- although in the very long term
it might perhaps be feasible to list such titles, perhaps
non-clickably or in an otherwise different format [or possibly
hyperlinked to iafd]; the work involved would be colossal and
would definitely be to a large extent a mere duplication of their
work. Given that pretty much every egafd user is aware of iafd's
existence I don't believe it unduly taxes them to 'go next door'
and do a quick search for the US work of any actress who
captures their interest.

The problem is that IAFD recently began listing a lot of Euro titles, even if the movies had no US release. So they have changed their basic operating policy.
On the EGAFD side, it was reluctant to list Private titles (which policy has recently changed). There has been a shifting of sands, and yes there is a duplication already of certain titles in both databases.
It becomes more and more difficult to determine what is Euro and what is US produced movie.
The two movies I mentioned in my recent posts are 100% US produced, no doubt about it but are listed in EGAFD.
Look at many Devil's Film movies. You never see a director name, but if you look at the cast named and faces you know they feature 100% Euro performers. I don't know the people at the company or whether they are prepared to clarify what these movies are. Should they be in EAGFD? I don't really know. They are obviously shot there with a Euro cast and Euro crew. I don't know whether they are self-financed over there and are subsequently just sold to Devil's Film. Are they American or Euro product?
My suggestion was for EGAFD to list everything over time. Monumental? Can't be done overnight, but you do not need to open up a movie page for a title that is technically US. List it in the Euro performers filmos and make them NON clickable. The persons consulting the database will know and understand to look elsewhere for full details.

That's a good summary of the various problems, and pretty
much my view in general- although I'd still balk at the aim of
'completeness'.
This is why I believe only a general consistency is possible and
that individual titles or groups of 'doubtful' titles will need to
be considered on an ad hoc basis.

JJ no database is "complete" in any sense of the world.
=IMDB may list only some porn performers, but will end up listing only some titles. Rather incomplete and frequently inacurrate info.
=EBI lists only movie titles to the female performer filmography (Euro and American) and some titles may be clickable which will send you to a distributor where the movie is available or at times to a video box cover. They do a pretty good job but you really have to move around to get sufficient info on that movie (release date, director, other perfomers, etc). A number of (eastern) Euro performers are not listed there.
=IAFD originally only was concerned with listing US movies, then some that had been released in the USA and more recently even Euro titles that had no US release whatsoever. The result is a bit of swiss cheese, and you will see a Euro porn actress' filmography who may have done 20-30 movies but only 2 titles are listed there. It has male, female performers, as well as directors filmographies.
=EGAFD is supposedly only concerned with continental female performers. Initially it had a number of softcore titles, which have disapepared over time. EGAFD initially objected to listing Private movies saying there were so many and the task was monumental to list, but that has recently changed.
That's the situation. And as I mentioned things shift all the time, and what is true today may change at some point down the line, depending on the work force, financial resources, task involved, and point of views of administrators/volunteer contributors/owners.
