I've downloaded all for my husband. One disappointment: My Windows media player does not show those with the file ending .avi
Those are only opened as audio-files.

I don't know what to do about those. Does anybody know?

You need codec or can use VLC:

Windows Media Player is a bad choice indeed. Download K-Lite Codec Pack (www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm) and use a more reasonable one like VLC or MPC (www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm).
