It seems odd to me that people find that word taboo and yet we can say "penis" or "testicles" or even "cock ,balls in my undies". Now when it comes to semantics, it has always fascinated me that (in the U. S. at least) on TV, you can say "dick" if it refers to a person's name, or "screw" if you mean a fastening device, but you can't say "dick" if you mean a penis, or "screw" if you mean coitus, but you can say "penis" or "coitus".
