Recently came across this entry......
Isn't it nice that the db can still throw up the occasional surprise, even to a
raddled old hack like me?
And isn't it encouraging that there are still those in porn who have benefited
from a classical education?

.... for 'Lepidoptera', which would be in my [admittedly zoologically-biased]
reading 'butterflies and moths'. Even the adjectival 'lepidopteran' would still
be clumsy- does she fly in the sunshine, waving her elegant clubbed antennae?
Or is she more often a denizen of the night, with the [suitably ethereal] feathery
equivalent?
Perhaps unsurprisingly, this group of animals seems to boast by far the greatest
number of scientific names derived from classical mythology- and wouldn't it be
great to see a girl pseudonymize herself as Vanessa atalanta:
