Nothing really to recommend for the movies she shot in the US. She had no knowledge of English, and had no speaking lines. At least in those movies, she was not really a enthusiastic performer.
Did not see much of her Euro stuff.
By and large, the majority of these films (Euro or US) are no longer in circulation.

Best tactic is to search Italian retail sites for those titles she did for Mario
Bianchi. Some feature her in more than one scene; in others you get not much
more than glimpses. IMO the 'Giochi bestiali in famiglia' scene is one of her best.

The Videorama stuff is available n DVD; as is 'Viaggio nel Tiempo'- but although
she gets analed a couple of times, she doesn't look all that great in this and all
her scenes are with the horripilatory Malone. Whoever decided to film her with her
lovely hair pinned up should have been sodomized with a red-hot scaffolding-pole.

'Troie a passeggio' and 'Sweet Silence' [as 'Silenzio degli Orgasmi'] are probably
still available as Italian DVDs.
Len is right; her US stuff is pretty ropey.

Pomodoro was one of strangest foreign performers (in US movies) I saw in that period. Attractive looking, extremely bushy vagina (probably may have beaten even Marilyn Jess), but very demure, to the point of being nearly catanonic in sex scenes (Savannah had a slightly more pulse than Pomodoro).
I don't know whether it was her personal character, strangeness of finding herself in a strange land not understanding a word of what what being said around her, perhaps not being accustomed to US filming methods, but she did not appear to be in it at all. She just lay there like a log, pretty lifeless.
Not having seen much of her Euro stuff it's hard for me to compare or to assess why her US stuff was so lifeless and dull.

She's a good deal more lively in some [not all] of her Euro stuff, presumably
along the lines of your second suggestion. I recall a multi-girl MB piss-session
where she was clearly having a ball. I have the distinct impression though, that
she was usually a bit bemused by it all.
One US effort where you did get a bit of life was the Dirty Debutantes scene-
but that has the major demerit of featuring Ed Powers. Like several of her
contemporaries she suffered from being usually paired with either incompetent
or unprepossessing partners- often in the same ugly body; or rendered largely
anonymous in poorly-organised orgy scenes.

There weren't that many foreign porn actresses around that time, and maybe American filmmakers did not quite know what to do her (nor for that matter with Moana Pozzi and Lili Carati). She either made no attempt or no one tried to make her say a few lines (even if in broken English). I mean I have seen a lot of foreign actresses in more recent times (either shot in the USA or in Europe in American-produced movies) say a few lines: something along the line "Ai laik getting fucked in de ass". Even her few scenes with Joey Silvera were dull as hell (and he was featured in many Euro movies).
The US movies she was featured in were by and large low-budget middle of the road efforts, and her scenes did not put her to good use. Wish I could hear what her real impressions were in making those movies in the US. Was her heart really not not in it, or did she quietely understand that she really wan't given the chance (was she being put down perhaps by her fellow male and female partners)?

There's still a lot of parochialism [that's putting a kind gloss on it] in the US
industry- where rather stupid males can feel feel superior to a foreign girl
entirely because she doesn't happen to have English as her native language.
It's an odd attitude- as an Englishman, I find that many US-born people seem
to have difficulty with the English language too : -))
It's not as prevalent as it was in the time you're referring to, partly I think
because that the influx of European males, particularly those such as the polyglot
Steve Holmes, have made Americans realise that not speaking English well doesn't
mean you're thick.

I cringe every time I see a girl forced to read lines, unintelligible to her, from
a cue-card. It's demonstrative of the stupidity of those who indulge in this
practice that they don't realise that it actually makes the perpetrators look like
prats, not their victim. Strangely, this seems to be commonest amongst the Afro-
American interracial genre- one would have hoped that members of an oppressed
minority might be less rather than more willing to oppress others, but to judge
by young A-As' attitudes to women in general and 'white' women in particular
this doesn't seem to be the case.....

I think you have to go back to the days of the German Angela Baron who went to work in the USA knowing very little English. She was definitely a pioneer in establishing a foreign presence in the US. She did pretty well for herself, no doubt helped to a some/great extent with her personal and professional association with producer Ross. What did her in was the numerous plastic surgeries she underwent to change her looks, and at the end she looked like no one in particular.
What bothers me to some degree (and I have seen this this in some Anabolic/Diabolic older titles, as well as recent tiels from other companies) is that you have one or two (American) guys sitting on a couch or bed with a foreign actress (mostly of the eastern european kind) and making some small chatter (which is mostly irrelevant) and you can tell the girl is unanble to follow the conversation or what is being said about her. It's the presumption that everyone in the world should have sufficient knowledge of the English language. She is foreign, she is there to perform in a sex scene in a movie that is basically all-sex/gonzo and does not require any dialogue. So why bother asking her questions or making comments about her, if she is totally lost and just grins through it all. What if the same American actors were being shot in a scene in Budapest with an Hungarian and Czech actress and the girls would speak to them in their own language in an interview at the beginning of the scene, would they laugh as much?

I think this was covered to some respect in a thread dealing with subtitles a little while back. Americans generally dislike subtitles or dubbed movies, so they prefer having someone saying lines in English phonetically rather than dub or subtitle their lines later in postproduction. You have Italian, French and Private entities who shoot with a large pool of foreign male and female cast and basically dub everything after. American hc companies just don't seem to have the time, energy, resources and the interest in dubbing lines for foreign performers. If they can a few lines in broken English that's fine otherwise they just have to make do, notwithstanding how ridiculous it may sound.

An amusing and very rare corrective to this attitude [giving the lie to the
Americans' wonted lack of a sense of irony] appeared in [IIRC] 'Dirty Little Sex
Brats 10' where Monica Cameron, Sheila Rossi and Caroline Cage chatted away
disparagingly in [possibly] Magyar about their prospective sexual partners Mickey
G and Jon Dough, with appropriate English subtitling, the gentlemen of course
being totally 'unaware' of the girls' real feelings : -)
