Re: Urban Sluts
Would 2005 be accurate for release date (for EGAFD database)?
Re: Urban Sluts
I didn't see a date- but iafd have 2006.

Re: Urban Sluts
The Orgazmik[/b] web site (linked to the movie EGAFD page) indicates catalogue/availability date of April 20 2005. So 2006 seems to be rather unrealistic.
Re: Urban Sluts
If you trust Orgazmik over iafd, fine.
But I'll reserve judgment : -)

Re: Urban Sluts
I have often compared the Orgazmik "catalogue" dates (which are German/Euro) against US release dates from US distributors as well as other Euro distributors and those seemed quite OK to me.
Unless you have noted other flagrant errors I don't have serious trouble with Orgazmik "catalogue" dates.
In this specific case what is the IAFD (2006) date based on?

I didn't mean to single out Orgazmik; my comment was aimed rather at retailers
in general- who [unlike iafd] have no particular vested interest in providing
accurate release-dates.

No idea. I wonder if it had a VHS release [seems unlikely]?

Re: Urban Sluts
The year 2006 came from a submission but the submitter didn't mention a source.
I changed the year to 2005.
Re: Urban Sluts
I don't often consult Orgazmik for information about movies. I am not particularly fond of their attitude that you have to register to see a bloody box cover. That goes as well for the other various video retailers (US in particular) who demand that you register in order to see a video box cover (or the even the back).
Nonetheless, if Orgazmik indicates a "catalogue" date, in the few occasions I have had to consult their site about a movie, I have usually found that to be quite reasonable. "Catalogue" date does not mean official release date in Germany (or Europe) but I am pretty sure it means the date when Orgazmik acquired the DVD title and placed it in their catalogue.
