In the classic <1985 era, there are a number of anal scenes in which body doubles were used.

Here are a few cases of (I believe) this practice.
I would appreciate your opinion on whether body doubles were used indeed or not.

It was much simpler and easier for directors/producers to "disguise" certain things back in the old days, due to the equipment and shooting methods they used. The cameras did not usually pan smoothly from head to foot. They were more static: a shot of the face, a shot of the ass, etc. In addition if an anal scene lasted about 45 seconds, and with actresses usually sporting full beavers it was hard to see or tell what what happenbing or if a body double was being used.
For instance in ANGEL ABOVE, AND THE DEVIL BELOW (1975) Brittany Lane did not perform any hardcore scenes at all and a body double was used.
In DOUBLE EXPOSURE OF HOLLY (1975) Catherine Earnshaw would only perform simulated sex and used a body double for hc sequences.
There were others performers who would only do simulated sex in hc movies (Kitten Natividad early on, Edy Williams). Stacey Donavan in her debut HUSTLER 17 (1984) did some simulated scenes and a double was used for inserts.

I checked this one and altough briefly but the camera pans from the penetration to her face. Maybe it was edited for some distributors?
