Good question......but how do you define 'genuine amateur'???
Is a model who works on a part time basis (possibly has a day job) an amateur????.... (Take into account that she may be doing two or three modelling jobs a week and earning the same amount(or more) from modelling as she is earning doing her 'day job'!!!!!
If she accepts payment for a couple of jobs a week at what point does she become 'semi professional????....
Is she 'professional' after she has been published/appeared in a video available for general viewing????.... (taking into account that she is still doing her day job).....
Well that's oppened tonights 'can of worms'.
Regards
Chris
p.s for real genuine amateur I'd suggest a card in the local newsagents or a scout through the local 'Free-Ads' paper.

thanks for the reply, I guess the "p.s." was the answer I was looking for really
your point on what constitutes a "genuiene amateur" was also a good point, I s'pose I mean someone who doesn't do it for a living
on another point, don't you think there seems to be a lack of real ethnic amateur sites out there?

I agree - a site/forum with genuine amateurs who want a bit of fun while earning a few quid would be most useful.

A few years ago when camcorders were first widely available to Joe Public, there was a surge of amateurs who fancied a crack at DIY home-made porn, and initially it was spectacular thinking you were watching the equivilant of your next door neighbour. But as with most things, it went to overkill and 'past it professional' models jumped on the bandwagon selling themselves as 'genuine amateurs'
I do have some GENUINE amateur tapes, and its good stuff. What I hate is getting some 'amateur' tapes that are professionally produced, with excellent editing, good sound and lighting, and a professional model going through the motions as if it was her first shoot. If I want that, I will buy a professional film made by professional people.
Its becoming all too rare to find genuine amateur models and my question is : After making 2-3 films, does this make them professional?

yes, agree with you both there - nice to know we're not alone on this point!
as for mynah's comments, this is what we're attempting to do on our site, & the only way we can see is to recruit friends - however, our circle of friends is only so large & like-minded...hence where do you go next?
as to our friend, Ace, couldn't agree with your comments more - there is nothing worse than "professional amateurs" or professionally produced amateurs...
I s'pose this argument about the difference between an amateur & professional is a bit blurred - but we know what we mean right..?
