i ordered a film from them and charged twenty pounds for it and only to find that its a cheap copy on a mitsubishi tape and not the original that seemed to be advertised.twenty pound for a copy is a downright insult.

I found stb VERY good with customer service proceedures. Try contacting them with your misgivings and I am sure they will try their best to resolve it. I complained twice and each time it was resolved to my total satisfaction.

What do you expect from UK despatch? Even Your Choice tapes are copies on brand name tapes. They are copied from a master in the UK for eachindividual order Firms like Your Choice and STB dont carry stock for obvious reasons ie policemen stealing the stock sso you oobviously get a copy..

Perhaps it was a one-off which you need to speak to them about to resolve !!!

How long have you been buying UK dispathed tapes? Take it from me most are copies from a master, and STB have a brill after sales department. If you need an original why not buy one of thier many DVD titles, they should satisfy your needs.

I agree. I have bought quite a number of tapes from them and found the service very good. Recently I ordered 3 tapes, only 2 arrived I e-mailed them and a replacement was sent in days.
Yes it is sad that they can only supply copies, but the blame lies with our still archaic censorship laws!
