Dunno if anybody saw in todays Daily Mail page 45, the jailing of the sick bastards who's videos were discussed at length on this forum yesterday. Nine months IS pretty lenient in my opinion. I was annoyed that his solicitor blamed his crime on depression, use of amphetamines and drinking as an excuse and that he be placed in a psychiatric clinic instead of doing 'hard time'..........I can only imagine the solicitor didn't see the 'evidence'

Yes I agree with you totally, this is unacceptable in every way, adult videos and porn are fine as long as every one involved is willing and happy, torturing animals is a bloody disgrace, this guy should be stamped on. And he will be when he gets inside. The papers have to be careful about publishing peadophile stories and names, but they make up for it by publishing this sort of thing, 99% of people inside will feel as I do about this, and this guy wont get solitary for protection either.

F' you!)these schlags are gutless mo' fo's, who deserve the same treatment they dish out, if only?...so called mental health problems are used all to frequently in these kinda cases,

please put o/t in the subject header of posts that are 'off topic' - i.e. not about british h/c models/videos or other matters relating to the british adult entertainment industry (section 2.9.5 of the faq).
thank you.

We had a murder case up here in the last few weeks where a guy had taken a sledgehammer to a woman---horrific injuries to the extent where not a bone in her head was unbroken---and blamed it on flashbacks to when he had been abused as a child rather than the drink and drugs he'd taken and the gas he'd been sniffing. Fortunately, the jury didn't fall for it.
It's been said on this site before, but violence is the real obscenity in our society. Plus, if people have no concerns about stomping kittens, what are they likely to do to people?

I agree entirely with Ace. I know people who got five years for crimes of theft. The laws on animal cruelty stink. Its hard to believe that a guy who does a credit card fraud will get a much longer sentence than some sick freak who kills a defenceless little kitten. The sentencing policy is fucked up. Look at these white collar City fraudsters who steal millions of pounds and get a 9 month sentence in a soft nick like HMP Ford while Joe Bloggs who steals a few quid to feed his family gets five years in a shithole like HMP Brixton, HMP Winston Green or HMP Durham.
And most solicitors and barristers are crap. I was disgusted to see my friend on trial a few years ago for GBH and his barrister had not even read the papers and just bluffed his way through the case. Lazy overpaid twats the lot of em.

Just shows how fucking ignorant some solicitors are. Any psychiatrist will tell you the theraputic value of having a cherished pet for companionship - not for stomping on.

I agree pets are a cure or medical aid to certain conditions.
Its also worth remembering that solicitors and baristers on both sides will only tell a version of the truth which is of benefit to thier client. This is where the jury comes in. There might be a biased story from the defence and a biased story from the prosecution/police. A jury can hopefully wade through the evidence without bias.
I get tired of people saying to me "oooh, these criminals get off because of the lawyers". Bollocks. If criminals get off its because the police and CPS are not doing thier jobs. The CPS with the police bring so many weak cases to Court that it makes the statistics look bad. Perhaps the police and CPS could have tried harder over the Stephen Lawrence case but they could not be bothered because they did not realise that the media would be on them. They mistakenly thought that one more dead black kid would not make headlines but they had not reckoned on Mrs Lawrence being educated and capable of kicking up a fuss.
The Met are pathetic. They are trying to portray themselves as nice guys in tune with "the ethnics" and even happy to dance a bit at the Notting Hill Carnival. I bet that sort of PR goes down well with people who remember the early eighties and the incident that sparked the Brixton riots.
