Hello everyone

This is Richard Ings, Head of Programming at Playboy TV.

I have absolutely no idea what you guys think of Playboy and whether or not you even consider it worthy of watching let alone comment given our reputation for being soft and fluffy (and American) rather than dirty and British.

Well I'm not about to announce a change, but I am interested in finding out what you guys think of our post-10pm (and even pre-10pm) programming. I have no need for reassurance so lay into me as much as you like, but I am genuinely curious to see what you guys think of us, or whether we are simply off your radars entirely.

Case in point (to get into specifics): I see no mention here of our Girl on Girl Night two weeks ago where we premiered a fantastic new, slightly fetishy, series called "Full Contact Girls". Did you not know it was on? Did you see it and feel it unworthy of praise or pity? Are you conscious of the show existing? Do you think it's any good?

Forgive me if, as your interest is "British Girls", I am way off topic, but as I hope your interest in porn extends beyond TAC and TVX, I really would appreciate some comments on our programming. After all, most of you get us as part of the TAC/PBTV package - are we ever worth watching? Or should I retire ?

I'm still waiting to hear back from Jeremy Yates about my comments to him after I tried to help your company by supplying models that you needed..

Try getting back to people like myself first.. Then you might have some UK based models on you channels and then you can ask others what they think !!!

likewise I contacted TAC about supplying Brit girl stuff and never even got a reply

My comments (aside from the one under Joes):

1) Content too soft (which I know is COMPLETELY 110% outside of your control) but everyone will mention it

2) Too many repeats

3) Too much non British stuff

4) Not enough genuine amateur stuff and I mean genuine - not models pretending to be amateurs

5) Not issuing reliable listings and even when you do not sticking to them - sometimes I will turn on expecting one program only for it to have been cancelled and something else shown or the listings have been wrong in the first place. Also listings need to be more detailed to let us know who is featuring in each show - the title alone is not enough.

I, for one, would be prepared to pay more if the above were resolved (bar number one obviously) - I have been a subscriber for about 9 months this latest time and I have only really watched it once which was for the Big Bang. Anything else has been 10 minutes here and there.

If I think of anything else then I will let you know!

The complaints come thick and fast about this company-even from cameramen who have applied,who do excellent work,craftmens at their job,and be rejected as 'not good enough'...and then to see what is being turned out...no wonder complaints come in from dissatisfied viewers-and the above gentlemen on these posts.

As I've said before-a big shake up is needed before the whole subscriptions go floating out of the window...

As many of you know, we produce loads of 'genuine amateur' material a month exclusively for Fantasy/Red Hot TV. I sent some sample tapes to Jeremy Yates about 3 weeks ago (at his request). I tried phoning about 12 times last Thursday/Friday all I got, after being left on hold for a while was....'sorry he's not at his desk'......no offer to 'take a number'....no 'can I get him to ring you back'

OK I understand he may be busy but he has my phone number/ mobile number / e-mail address....only takes a couple of mins. to make a phone call even if the answer is 'not interested'.

Yo, Richard. I say forget about "dirty and British." Some years ago that meant, sexy, horny, erotic, which was all well and good. But now it really does mean 'dirty' and that put loads of mainstream type viewers off - the ordinary Joes, the silent majority who provide the revenue. How many folks want to actively wallow in the gutter? No one I know, no one I talk to. Of course they could be lying, but then why aren?t sales of well ?dirty? videos going through the roof, instead of declining?

I would say forget about hardcore, it's everywhere, we don't need anymore and even if you did give the punters hardcore they would still get bored in a month or two and cancel their subscriptions. So where would you go from there? Some of the horniest scenes I've witnessed in mainstream films and on TV have been where the protagonists haven?t even taken their togs off! Compelling content is down to attractive appealing performers 'n' actors and good program making. The girls don't necessarily have to be British to make the Officer sit up, just natural, aware of their own sexuality, feminine and stunning.

Hold on Chris. If you "produce" it, then it can't be "genuine amateur" can it? It's Pro-Am if anything.

Genuine amateur is where 'Mr Bristlethwaite, across the road at 69, gives you a crap VHS copy of an 8mm tape of him 'n' his pal shagging Mrs Bristlethwaite on their naff MFI settee last week!

And I couldn,t agree with him more, he sums up everything thats missing from a good porn movie, British or otherwise.
What would be good would be H/C but with clothes on for a while

Your channel, along with the others, attempted to cash in on the British Porn market. It failed(in numbers) because of the regulations governing broadcast channels containing what is classed as pornographic by the appropriate authorities in this fair country of ours.

I personally never heard of a case being brought by your masters-and the others channel producers-for "freedom of speech,etc" so why continue to fob off the poor punters with rubbish they neither want or expect.

The Power of the Press can be enormous, as we all know, but your mob and their ilk have never chosen to use it:why not? So you can say "we are legit", lovely, tell your daughters,etc??
You are all a bunch of hypocrytes who's only goal in life is to rip-off poor sods who pay you fees in the expectation of something you dont/cannot deliver.
There is a weapon available to you all-use it:

The Golds/Sullivan/ Desmond and all/alied are a bunch of total hypocrits who expect the general public to continue to be conned by their fucking rubbish and employ nice fellers like you to promote it.
