Hello everyone,
just a question. I've read in few places that the site database is now working, but when I click on the "Actresses" and "Films" links I still get the "Database Unavailable" page. Is it just me or do you also see that? Does anyone know anything about it? Thank you!

P.S.
For future references, I guess we can use this topic to keep people informed about any site problems, inaccessibility, etc. It's a hard life without the precious information that egafd offers, and if somebody can tell what the situation is, I guess we would all be happy! !wink!

Having the same problem here.

We did get it all back with the new server - almost. There were some glitches
on the admin side that only came to light a bit later - and this has necessitated
taking the db down again to fix it all. It's a bit like changing an indicator-light
bulb on a Nissan Micra - you almost have to remove the entire engine-block to
get at the fitting : -)

All we can promise is: as soon as humanly [even inhumanly] possible.
