Anyone knows how it was determined that this girl is Petra Dyrthen?

Most likely because of IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068745/ and via V*F.

Most old sources are down (some german TV magazines). Probably someone came up with a name and it got copied.

Hm, I think rather not. The IMDB guys haven't connected the credit to a charakter in "Intime Liebschaften".
And even if they did, their entry wouldn't be a good source.

They have a thread about her. But as far as I can see ther only source seem to be her EGAFD entry.

I have magazines like "Video Intim" or "Sex im Kino".
The movie is listed in the latter - but without any info whom the name belongs to.

Of course there might be others as well. There might be a good source for the connection - I just wasn't able to find out so far.

I don't recall where this was from, but not from an old mag - I would have kept a scan of that. Possibly from one of those old film-dbs, like kabel1 or h?rzu or cinema - which are no longer operational, at least not with the old data. My best guess would be "cinema" - they regularly showed lobbycards of films on their site, with captions who's on them. Not always reliable, but sometimes the only thing you had. I think the name for Christa Ludwig is based on similar shaky grounds.

A possible alternative would have been film credits, i.e. Italian film credits. While the German film credits in porn flicks were terse if not empty, this was not true in Italy. I did own at some point an Italian version of the film, so...

She is actually mentioned in Billian's book, though as with others, he fails to name her. He mentioned that she ran a brothel when barely of age.
