I went through an old magazine and found a bit more info for Sexy Sanna.

Info comes from a Finnish magazine called Hot 10.

The picture under the text where SEXY-SANNA is mentioned is from the movie.

The magazine was released in 1993.
It says a movie called "Himon vallassa" has just been released in summer.
Also it mentions all the pictures being from that "Himon vallassa" movie.

So, the material on Sexy Sanna is now certainly confirmed being a movie called "Himon vallassa",
and it has been originally released in summer 1993.

The director is Mikko Jylh?, better known as Kullervo Koivisto,
so you can list him as the director of Sexy Sanna / Himon vallassa.

At elonet is a lenght of 59 min given and a age restriction of 16 years, which
would be strange for a porn flick.

Is this a maybe a shortened SC version?

I checked the Sexy Sanna dvd and its length is actually close to 2 hours 50 minutes.
However, it looks like the dvd has material from at least two different movies.


Here are some pieces of the puzzle:

-Sexy Sanna has some scenes that all have a female voice telling the story. Some scenes with that female voice seem to tell one story and some scenes seem to tell another.
Some scenes have no voice over at all and one scene has a male voice.

-I checked the overall length of those scenes that have the female voice
and where the story seems to be continuous and I got about 55 minutes and 40 seconds.
Pretty close to that ~59 minutes, isn't it?
My guess would be that with some opening and closing credits plus maybe some scene transitions or "sexless" small scenes the full length could be that 59 minutes.
There were two voice-overless scenes cut in between the story scenes.
With them intact the first story would end at about 1 hour 20 minutes.
They really seem like scenes that don't belong to the original though.

-In that magazine scan I posted there are also two other movies mentioned:
"Puhelintyt?t" (http://www.elonet.fi/fi/elokuva/174071)
and "Ilotalo" (no information about this is found online - a movie with that name on Elonet is not this one).
"Himon vallassa" was mentioned as released in June.
"Puhelintyt?t" was mentioned as released in August.
"Ilotalo" was mentioned to be released in turn of the month between August and September.

-"Puhelintyt?t" means phone girls.
"Ilotalo" means bordello.

-There are many scenes where the plot has everything to do with a bordello so I would think those scenes are from the movie "Ilotalo"
and maybe that scene with Kristiina on phone is from "Puhelintyt?t" but it has been intercut with a scene that is set in a bordello
even though the scene with Kristiina on phone doesn't seem to have anything to do with a bordello.
Could be it's from "Himon vallassa" too.
The music however doesn't seem to be cut but flows nicely in between the intercut scenes.

-About the age restriction of 16:
In Finland it was possible to release videos with any restriction until 1987.
Then it became illegal to release videos that have "K18" rating,
so every movie that was checked to have material that would put them in that category
would either have to be cut or not release them at all.
Porn films would usually get the K18 rating so there wouldn't be any harcore porn films in the market (they still produced sold them "under the table" in porn shops of course).
It was also legal for anyone to buy a porn magazine and for anyone to sell a porn magazine to anyone long into the 90's.
If kids dared to do it, they could go and buy one.
For videos it was different as it simply wasn't legal to publish a movie
that would be restricted from people under 18 years old.
However, at least movies like Romance X and Zazel were released with K16 rating even though they had porn scenes (Zazel even being an actual full blown porno movie).
Not sure if any were released with that rating before them though.
I think it would be safe to assume though that the 59 minute length is for a softcore version.


A quick summary:
I think Sexy Sanna consists of movies "Himon vallassa" and "Ilotalo".
There may be scenes from another movies too.
And both Himon vallassa and Ilotalo might not be fully intact in Sexy Sanna.

2: Kristiina solo, intercut with Ilona's scene. (From "Himon vallassa")
3: XNK7919 with a guy - doesn't quite feel it should be part of "Himon vallassa", but who knows, it could be.
4: Kristiina & Ilona Tihase lesbian shower scene. (From "Himon vallassa")
5: XNK7920 with a guy (From "Himon vallassa"). I found out that the girl is called Mari. Somehow missed it the first time.
6: XNK7921 & XNK7922 lesbian scene. Again, feels very off from "Himon vallassa" but then again I think it has the same music than earlier scenes had.

7: Ok, now comes some corrections:
The scene has Kristiina & Anne with two guys.
The last two pictures in Pirre's gallery are actually Kristiina's pictures, not Pirre's.
She is clearly mentioned as Kristiina in the voice over.
And Anne is actually referred as Janika here, but I'm quite certain she is the same person as Anne in later scenes.

Storywise the "Himon vallassa" stuff ends with that scene.

8: Heli with a guy. A male voice over talks something about prostitutes so this could be part of "Ilotalo" as the word means bordello.
The tone of the scene is quite different from the rest so that makes me doubt it a bit.
9: Liisa with a guy. A female voice over tells this happens in a bordello, so I think it's from "Ilotalo".
10: Kristiina solo intercut with Liisa & the guy. From "Ilotalo".
11: Ilona Tihase with the guy Liisa was with. Liisa watches. From "Ilotalo".
12: Kristiina with a guy. Intercut with Ilona Tihase and the guy.
Now the voice over says Kristiina works at the bordello and the same music goes through all of these intercut scenes.
So I'm pretty sure this has all been from "Ilotalo" after "Himon vallassa" ended.
13: Anne solo. Intercut with Kristiina and the guy. Anne is now called Anne and not Janika (probably because the story has changed).
She looks for job at a bordello from a newspaper and starts to masturbate with hands and with a clarinet.
14: Jaana and Ilona Tihase in a lesbian scene. Jaana has come to an interview for a job at the bordello. Ilona owns the bordello.
15: Anne with a guy. She has come to a job interview for the bordello too.
16: Jaana and Ilona Tihase in a bit of a threesome action but then changing turns with the guy.
Intercut with Anne and the guy.
17: Pirre solo. Solo part partly intercut with Anne and the guy. Then Pirre is with a guy.
The scene also happens at the bordello.


So...
"Himon vallassa" definitely has Ilona Tihase (as Sanna), Kristiina, XNK7920 (as Mari) and Anne (as Janika).
I'm not 100% sure about XNK7919 (scene 3) and XNK7921 & XNK7922 (scene 6), but they could be from the same movie.

"Ilotalo" definitely has Ilona Tihase (as Sanna), Liisa, Kristiina, Anne and Pirre.
I'm not 100% sure about Heli, but could be from the same movie.

I don't think any of these scenes are from "Puhelintyt?t".

The names you added (Ilona Tihase as Sanna, xnk as Meri etc) are this
credits or more role names?

Sanna and Mari are role names. There are no credits in this dvd.
All names come purely from the voice over.

However, although we know Sanna's actress is Ilona Tihase
it is possible that Mari is both the name of the character and the actress.

Sadly the screenshots from the original thread for this dvd have all died.

In the movie you can see some production notes in a few frames.
You can see the names Kristell, Kristiina and Ilona.
Ilona is obviously Ilona Tihase but this also kinda proves Kristiina is both the name of the role and the name of the actress.
One of them is Kristell though and I have no idea who she might be.
Could be one of the XNKs or one of the others.

So who knows if Mari is the real name too.
Same goes to the girl who is called both Janika and Anne.

Pirre's gallery still has two wrong pictures.
The last two pictures in Pirre's gallery are pictures of Kristiina.

And maybe you could change XNK7920 to be called Mari. She's called Mari in the movie and while it's the name of the character that's the only name we'll probably ever get for her.
And remember, Kristiina is also both the actress and the role name so it could be Mari is both as well.
