Xmas piss-up

With the greatest respect to Chuck, I feel that the idea of wandering the streets on a pub-crawl is not too attractive to most.
Bob's offer is a good one - or indeed any fixed venue.

Agreed...I dont want it to be a pub crawl, im not interested in that. Ive only Suggested doing in a pub as I wasnt sure who would want to at short notice, and yes Bobs offer is cool.
If the location were in gets a bit cramped, then theres a bigger place round the corner....if people want to....I just want a beer....or two!
Im just trying to keep it simple due to the short notice...but if poeple would rather go to Bobs ( ive never been ) then cool.
Hope to see you there
Chuck

I'm happy to meet in a pub if everyone else wants to, or you can use my studio space. I really don't mind either way, and wouldn't be offended in the least if you all said you prefered the pub.
I offered my place at a time when it looked like Chuck was having difficulty finding somewhere.
It's there if you want it, and because it's mine there won't be a landlord telling you to drink up and go home at a certain time, and you can be as uninhibited and leery as you want as no-one else will be there... no members of the public to upset (though knowing some of you, I just KNOW you get off on shocking people!!! LOL) and no liklihood of being thrown out.
My studio space is a 48sq m main room where I hold my shows. It'll comfortably hold 40 or so seated. We don't have draught beers and lagers, but we have a reasonable range of bottled beers, plus wines, spirits and soft drinks. If anyone has a particular requirement let me know and I'll do my best to get it from the cash & carry. If people want some food, let me know, but while I can let you have the space for free, the company that does the catering for me will want paying... say ?10/head??
For anyone who wishes to party more privately there are three smaller rooms upstairs
As I said, I don't mind either way.... I'm used to organising parties at the last minute, so you don't even need to let me know until Sunday 19th!!!

In other words count me in! all we need now is an address and a time
I spoke with a model who is brand new at hardcore and she would be delighted to attend as well ...

As I was driving home this evening I was thinking about the food... if there's say 30 or so, then about a fiver a head will be enough to get a nice buffet... you might need something to soak up all the booze. Catering is done by the people who used to run Cynthias Cyber bar under London Bridge (before it became Club Wicked which has now gone bust and closed down)
Maybe Chuckstar could quickly email all those who responded to his first call to arms and ask them what they prefer... pub or my place?
For everyone's info, my place is The Studio, 30 Turner Street, London E1 2AS

Chuckstar...
There is never enough wine for Faye... Jacobs Creek is her current favourite
Bob...
Bloody hell Turner Street... I used to spend a lot of time down there and in that part of London when I was in the fashion biz. My late father lived a couple of turnings down, as he was brought up in Cavell Street, so I've known the area since I was born... The last time I was in there, where he used to live had been demolished and was the Whitechapel post office car park...
I think I'll have to come just to see how the area has changed since I quit fashion in 97..

There's a nice new school of dentistry being built just behind The Good Samaritan.... all gleaming chrome and glass, but I don't think you'll find too many changes otherwise.... still lots of rag trade around.
