I have shot a non adult short in the past, but never an adult short, but I do have ideas for one. I just found this site along with it?s links, which have proved useful.
Here are a few questions currently burning holes in my head, if anyone has any answers, thanks!
Models ? Seems they can be booked for 2 hours. What if the model was required for a whole day? What are the average rates they (the models charge). Obviously their time, experience and what is being asked of them would enter into the equation.
Contracts ? Is it the norm for a performer to be paid on the day of the shoot and sign something along the lines of an agreement where they acknowledge they have received payment for their work and all material recorded belongs not to them.
HIV certs, I am assuming this is standard procedure these days. No HIV cert on the day, then nothing can go a head. In all honesty, are HIV certs worth the paper they are written on? In other words, when does an HIV cert become out of date. In theory a new HIV cert would be required every time the person in question performs.
From other people?s experience, what are the other pit falls involved?
Thanks again.
