Hey, I?ve got some scripts ?written by me- and I want to develop them as movies.
However, I?m concerned about the money raising for the production financing.
I?ve thought about some ways to get the money. I can go to: a film company, an investor, a loaner or a bank.. What do you recommend me the most?

Scriptwriters tend not to produce their own films. If you pitch your script at the big feature production companies you will find that they are awash with scripts and films take years to produce anyway. If you can get the cash then great but a very cheap film like 'Trainspotting' or 'Pusher' takes at least $500K to make, which is a big risk. Possible sources of contacts are

The only certain way to make the film is to do it with your own money. 'Eraserhead' took four years to make but it got made.

Don't be too optimistic about getting anybody in the UK interested in you. It's a closed shop and you don't have an Oxbridge background then forget it seriously. The UK isn't the centre of anything any more but the movie/TV business likes to pretend it is because we share the same language market as the USA. If they offer you a job as a runner tell them to stuff it where the sun never shines. I wish I had had the guts to say that at the time.
