Erotic...

Like me you are in the UK and subject to UK laws but...

This is going to go on for quite a while with different thoughts from everyone, including US and UK lawers :(

Back in 1996 we had a holiday in Florida and whilst there I got a ticket for speeding the day before coming home. Well being the clever arse I am I thought I?d just come back home and it would all be forgotten.

Then in 1998 we went back again having forgotten all about the ticket and no soon as I went through passport control I was arrested. Now they were actually very good about it and treated me well and all I had to do was attend a court house and pay a fine saying sorry and kiss the flag but wow all that for a speeding ticket.

I?d hate too piss them of proper!

I know of someone who was selling goods into the US market from Canada and thought he was ok because he was outside the US jurisdiction. He flew to Florida for a meeting and was arrested getting off the plane. They won't extradite anybody, but they won't pass up the chance to get you if you present yourself to them after you've wound up on their wanted list for whatever reason.

How would they know if I were contravening 2257 - my records are in the UK? So, I get off a plane in Miami and they fly me back to Worthing to unlock my filing cabinet...
