Post by davey »

has anyone else had problems with them lately?they used to pay alright but for the last 6 months they have been fucking me about for my money.i have been getting cheques 2 months AFTER publication.last month they "forgot" to put me on the payroll.the month before that i got a cheque 2 months late without a date on it.the month before that the bloke who countersigns the cheques was off sick and no-one else could do it!now that i live in Ireland the latest excuse is they thought they could put a first class stamp on the letter and didnt realize you had to use one for Europe.it makes me wonder if they are haveing bigger problems then it appears

I tend to agree with you, although only yesterday I got a cheque within about 6 weeks of invoicing, and without any chasing up.
We have need of you again, great king.

I've never heard a good word about them...Just take a look at the qulaity of paper they print on too. Thoroughly disposable. Tells you a bit about a company when they nick pictures off the internet and publish them as well.

It reminds me...Whis is UK porn so crap? because companies like this are symptomatic of low production standards and don't pay enough for a producer to live on which means producers scratch around to find people cheap enough to do the job who in turn can't be bothered for the shit pay, voila another substandard product on the market.

As for cable stations...don't get me started...

I've always found them to be by far the fastest payers in the biz and totally cool to deal with. I doubt you've got anything to worry about, loads of companies require two signatures on cheques (It's usually Company Directors who sign the cheques so if one isn't available you have to wait!) and, in all honesty, I had no idea Ireland was in the EU either.
