Technical Question - Re Traffic

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can help, or point me in the right direction.
A friend of mine suggested that I buy some Traffic.
Can anyone reccommend some good sites at reasonable rates?
Or is buying traffic really not worth it at all?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated?

Sounds like a good way to fleece someone out of cash to me. Buying traffic is not an absolute. Nor will buying traffic get you to your target audience.

If I had a site I would trully sent thee to the place of deeper understand and there proclaim thee as the masah.

I don't think buying traffic is a good idea either. I've never tried it, but if you frequent the webmaster forums you never read of people glad they did it.

Yep, buying traffic is usually a mistake, if it's good enough to convert then it begs the question, why are they selling it in the first place? I've heard countless stories of people who have wasted money and not made a single sale. If you're still interested then start off with Google adwords as this tends to be one of the better sources, though start with a low daily budget and use very targeted keywords.

Having said I haven't bought traffic, I have bought Google Adwords. What I found was it was great for about 2 weeks converting like mad, then faded away. Like a lot of advertising, I suppose, it gets stale. The trick is knowing when to stop with it before you start running into a loss.

You've probably done this but have you checked with your site builder and asked what metatags they have put in for you?

I've just had a look at the size of her metatags - ooh missus! I'm still scrolling.
