Thanks for two fantastic stints yesterday from Angel and Tequila, which made it another fun day for us (and a lot of happy guys and girls) on the Strictly Broadband stand...

Now my rant: the "ban" on cameras at Erotica (which most people ignored anyway) was utterly pathetic. Every time one of the actresses stripped off for their fans, a crowd would quickly gather, snapping shots with everything from camera phones to big SLR kit. Once we'd been warned for "lewd conduct" on Saturday, security was never far away, and would descend on our stand to tell us off again.

The definition of lewdness was also pathetically tight (although the local council probably carries a lot of the blame for that). The most surreal moment came after Angel took her top of for a few pics. Security arrived and chased away the fans, then had a word with me. Apparently it was OK for Angel to go topless, BUT she had caressed her own nipples which was considered a step too far. Which I guess explains why Savvas gave me a personal bollocking after the multi-girl strap-on fest on Friday evening.

Erotica is great at what it is: but surely there's space for a raunchier style of event aimed at a less sensitive clientele...

Good points but I think you'll find Erotica is just about in it's last stages of life and I'm told from one of Savz siblings that attendance was on a parr with Manchester so it must have been sick.

The problem is not with Savz and the gang but more with Olympia and to be more specific local council. For the girls to go any further than topless an adult entertainment license such as lap or table dancing would need to be in place which would never be granted because A it would have to be Private Members only and B a council would not want such a larger capacity building to have such status as they would then have to approve just about every application there after. I know Savz gets a lot of stick from the officials after the show which is why they have to be so strict.

I'm fortunate enough to consult to the the adult entertainment comitte's on both Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Walsall and now Staffordshire councils and the only way to change these Victorian views is with YOU the voters and Producers getting active in your area.

The thing I dont understand...
They wont allow any nakedness anywhere... (security going mad) I guess the council is trying to protect our fragile minds?
I can imagine the meeting, "shall we have naked women at a sex festival, no no no, but we can have a fire show on stage!!!

Nope he gets a sex establishment license, trust me I have had 3, and I have also went as far as planning an event in Earls Court 2. he could go much further than he does, But first thing is he does not like porn he prefers art and only lets 18R in for the money, second is he is right it would spriral out of control very quick like Barcelona. Let's give it it's correct term an AEL which governs the sale of adult literature and of or promotion of the same in a specific place of buisness ie the location of opperation of the forementioned buisness OLYMPIA.
The AEL does not govern interaction of an adult nature by where performers posing naked or touching explicit body parts whilst being viewed by a member or members of the public at the said location.


I wouldn't dream of commenting on Sav'z taste's other than he is a buisness man and as a buisness man he's rightly driven by finance and as anyone who has dared to question him will tell you it's finance first and then everything else... hence the size 18 lap dancing swingers claded in latex and lycra roaming the public areas
