Copyright question

Can anyone tell me how long copyright on films runs

Depends a bit per country, but usually 50 years or so for new films. It used to be shorter and you could renew it, some people didn't so now some films from the 50ies and 60ies are in the public domain. In the US it is always 5 years more then Micky Mouse is old :-)

In pornoland it depends on the contract you agree and thus the period of that contract. Unless of course you get commissioned to shoot stuff for whoever then of course they own it forever. You make more doing different deals in different territories or countries of course but commissioned is instant. Well usually ?
Or is this just the old days when there was money to be made in filming shaggin ?
