GAINING PICS FROM DVD

can anyone help, i have a dvd, and i was told i can take up to 48 pics from it, but i cant,
Is it a DVD movie or a DVD-ROM i.e. data disc?

Best way to grab images from a DVD is with Power DVD, which you might already have on your machine. Some PCs come with it already installed. Play back the DVD using that on your PC and use the little camera icon to capture the exact screen you want. It will save to a folder and you can do whatever you like with it then.

Grabbing widescreen pics can be a pain in the arse though. You have to adjust them in Photoshop afterwards.
