At the weekend I asked why new forum messages were not marked new and was told to adjust my cookie setting. I did this using the slide button in Internet Options>Privacy but its not worked. Its set at low privacy now so should it be set at off ie "accept all cookies"?
P.S. I was sober when I did it

Have you tried a forced refresh
Hold down control & f5 together
My setting is at low and I have a few niggling problems with the "new"....bloody thing won't disappear after I've read a message...and when I post a message it doesn't appear until I hit the refresh button(thats the one with the circling arrows on the toolbar in between the x and home)

Mmm, sorry to read that this didn't work, M, as it seemed the obvious solution. My cookies are set at about mid-way, and I get the read/new highlights OK, so I don't understand why it didn't work for you. This is obviously a question for the Nerds amongst us, but they'll have to be quick, as this forum is closing for the holiday soon !! Have a good one.
