I'm an investment specialist with a background in investment banking. I'm looking into the potential to gain some investment exposure to the UK adult-industry for my own and fellow investors portfolios. As many of you are aware, the adult industry offers huge potential for investment growth and this is something which we wish to benefit from.

My plan is to set up an investment fund which can then be used to directly invest into adult companies which we believe will provide sound returns. Think along of the lines of Dragon's Den. We're looking not only for new startups however, but established businesses which with extra capital could increase output and hence company value. A similar project has been established in the United States with impressive results and its these wish I hope to mirror.

I'm looking to hear from any area of the adult industry, be it video production companies, adult-web services, content providers or models. Indications of desired investment level and expected returns would be desirable.

I'm just putting this note out as feeler to try and gauge the amount of demand for investment and the interest in partnering up for this project. Please reply to this thread with an email address and a brief description of your interest level and someone will be in touch.

I'm not interested but I would suggest you provide an email in order that potential clients can respond to you in detail. A public forum is hardly the place to outline a business plan and/or financial requirements.

Point noted. My initial post was maybe somewhat misleading. I am not looking for the details in a reply post, just an initial indication of interest and contact details. I mention the other items in terms of the basics I will need them to know when/if I contact them.

My reason for not disclosing an email address currently is that I do not wish to receive a host of emails requesting financing. I would prefer to contact those I wish to potential invest in.

Look at it from the other side - people who already have a project / property / company etc and are looking for an investment also look for a degree of privacy.

I wouldn't reply to this subject on a public forum, nor indeed to anyone using a hotmail / yahoo address (like mine !).

I'm completely serious, and i would AGAIN like to state that i'm not asking for a detailed reply ON the public forum. My post states that I simply require a contact address and an indication of the level of interest. It's obvious that I do not expect individuals to publish their private ideas. Furthermore, I'm not asking for new and revolutionary ideas. As stated, we are looking to invest into companies which are already successful, but require extra capital to produce output. I don't believe adult films or websites are a patented idea? It's worth noting that correspondence will not come from a free (hotmail, yahoo, etc) email account.

As I mentioned in my post, this is a feeler to gauge the level of interest. A limited company would be set up if after research we believe the idea has a market over here in the UK.

Please read the post with a logical mindset, rather than trying to pick holes with a view which lacks any common sense.

The commercial side of www.adultindustryresources.com could be accelerated a lot with some capital, and I'm sure it would offer attractive returns.

(At the moment I'm still rolling out all the fundamental stuff so you can't really see the commercial side yet.)
