Does anybody remember(or even better, have) a video from the early 80's called, Cockney Rebel Special ? It was released in '83 and had a whole bevy of well know brit' models in it most notably, Linzi Drew . It was a softcore vid', but very, very sexy and horny for it's time . It was directed by Lynsey Honey, who later became, Steve Perry, but better known as Ben Dover.

It was about a gang of robbers who hideout in a big country house where a glamour shoot is taking place, and then they all get real horny and...well you know the rest

Surprisingly, considering the talent involved, it's not in the BGAFD listings, that's why I wonder if anyone remembers it .

Yes, I remember it!

My recollection is that the robbers are "distracted" by the models they are holding hostage. There are various combinations of softcore sex, and then it ends with the models escaping while the bad guys are lying around all shagged out.

I thought that "Cockney Rebel Special" was the production company, and the vid was actually titled "Wrong Time, Wrong Place" although I may be misremembering. It also had a sort of intermssion half way through that involved Linzi Drew doing a striptease.

If Ben reads this, perhaps he could enlighten us.

I've heard refered to by both titles, but I think your right about "Wrong Time, Wrong Place" being it's correct title .
It used to get mentioned in "Video World" magazine in the letters section asking where they could obtain a copy.

Also I saw a clip of it on TAC about 5 years ago, and afterwards an interview with Ben Dover, where he said he was only supposed to appear in it, but ended up directing and doing the music . Do you remember at the end of the vid' there was a little trailer for a, Cockney Rebel Special 2 ? I don't know if it ever materialized or what ??

I'm very glad someone remembers it 'cos 17 years after the last time I saw it(as a 16 year old) it is still very vivid in my mind.

It was a wet Tuesday in 1988 when I saw it, so my recollections are slightly hazy.

No, I doubt very much if it was shot hardcore 'cos the girls involved were all well know (even though I can't remember their names) top shelf s/c models of the time . Also at the time softcore was the norm, but still it was very erotically made, and has left a lifelong positive impression on me
