Looking down the list of videos, there was one featuring Cosi Fanni Tuti. Blast from the past. I knew she was a stripper and model, but knew her more as the partner of Genesis P O'rridge, of white noise band 'Throbbing Gristle', a combo that made many an ear bleed back in the late 70s. Anybody else here actually go to one of their gigs?

Hi Andy

I did see Throbbing Gristle many times and was disappointed to miss their re-union Gig last year(?)

Also saw Cosi stripping in a pub in Camden once. She appeared in a lot of loops and mags back then and had some recent erotic photos on her website at one time but they had been removed last time I looked perhaps because she had some stuff on show at the Tate Modern last year.

By the way if you have any of their LP's they seem to sell for a good price.

Thought there might be one or two who were familiar with them. Way back in 1977/8 I was involved in a 'alternative cabaret' type enterainment called 'The Rat Club' which had a few locations around town, notably the 'Pindar of Wakefield' in Greys Inn Road. TG played for us a few times, though the hospital next door used to complain a bit.
I remember seeing spreads of Cosi in a few Gold Star publications around that time, and I bumped into Gen on the tube once and chatted about old times. I believe he's now trans-gendered and living in NY, but I might be wrong.

Hi again-small world! Caught at least one TG/Pindar gig-maybe more, memory fails I saw them a lot. I was at the end of my education years and spent most of my week day nights at the Roxie with the Punk People mainly because it was cheaper than "real" music.

Small world indeed Muswell, especially when you consider how few people we had through the doors sometimes at Rat Club.

Wicked, Throbbing Gristle talked about on BGAFD. Very friendly.
