How to move tapes through border?

Hi guys and gals. I'm new - can you please be gentle...;-).

I wonder if one goes to Brussels (3-4 March) with a camera (like Z1) and does some filming over there of the festival, would they be stopped on the way back with tapes?

What will be on tapes - whatever is going on during the festival - naked shows, soft core on stage (I'm guessing) with perhaps not so soft bits (who knows what they will be showing).

I want to go as an amateur - OK, I'm an amateur;-) - but I want to make something out of it.

Thanks in advance.

You could always post the tape to yourself through the mail.

If it's within the scope of the Obscene Publications Act and would be classified as R18 by the BBFC, then there is little that HM Customs and Thieves can do.

The BBFC is not HM Customs.

Providing it is not extreme and is for your own personal use then you shouldnt have a problem.

You are correct - but if you stay within BBFC guidelines you can't be prosecuted for obscenity nor have material seized.

You should have no problems whatsoever unless like a fellow compadre you buy a lot of dvds then they may confiscate the lot in with what you have shot too but this was in 2003.

If you are just shooting stuff then no problem.
