well TFP is Time For Prints not sure what TFCD is

i.e. model works for free for portfolio or website pics/vids.
What follows is a few notes (bit ratty but what the hell).
In the old days prints cost money, and models needed prints to get work, and most good photographers charged models for portfolio shoots, so it was fair exchange - models time for something that had a real cost.
NOW prints don't matter much to models - people do everything by email, and models tend to get CDs, not prints. So the exchange is less fair.
Most models do one or two of these when they are starting, and others will do it from time to time, with photographers THEY CHOOSE, when they want to work with a particular non commercial photographer whose style they think will add to their portfolio at that time.
Tip - photographers who run ads offering TFP look cheap. You can afford the camera, the lights, the everything else, you can afford to pay the model.
As to those who post ads offering TFP because they are new to taking pics of models, what's that all about? You want her time but as have good as said you aren't good enough to deserve it. If you are new, book the established models - their experience will help you get good pics, and you can learn from them how to work with less experienced girls.

Just a way blokes with cameras try to avoid paying for their hobby.
