My rates are very, very good. I'm experienced, professional, reliable (will I show? You're damn right I'll show), I have a huge and varied wardrobe and I'm wide open to new ideas. I've been published all over the net and internationally in top shelf magazines. I suppose it wasn't clear enough from the tone of my original post:

I'm not interested in TFP or TFCD. I'm not really all that interested in part-paid. I have a three-month backlog of images that I haven't yet had time to update my profiles with.

If you want to book me, pay me. My rates are slightly better than industry standard, and I will negotiate for longer bookings. If after negotiation you're still telling me you can get cheaper elsewhere then you're either lying because you think I'm desperate for the work, or you're the kind of guy who is prepared to hire a wannabe idiot who will do herself for ?15/h, in which case I don't want to work with you. Hiring models costs money. If you're not prepared to spend that money, you shouldn't be trying to hire models.

I don't take personal cheques. I don't take credit cards. I don't take gift certificates, luncheon vouchers or IOUs scribbled on the back of a till roll. I take cash. You can pay me before or after the shoot, it's up to you, but when it comes to payment time be aware that I bring printouts of all email correspondence to shoots with me (including the one where you confirm that you've agreed to my fee), so if you fancy pulling a trick like the guy two months ago who tried to pay me ?40 total for a ?150+travel shoot, think again. I am also not open to renegotiation on the day. I turn up expecting a set fee. If you want to ask me to work a bit more for a higher fee, that's no problem. If you're going to tell me that you've double-booked by accident and you can only do half the shoot, you're still going to pay me in full.

If you cancel at the last minute or no-show on me, I will invoice you for my time. I am aware that this is unfair on genuine cancellations, however genuine cancellations are outweighed by timewasters on a 1:10 ratio. I lost ?900 of bookings two months ago because of people wasting my time, so I need to protect myself.

Also, if I've been holding a shoot date for you for a month, be aware that cancelling a few days before the shoot means that I've lost not only your shoot, but also the shoots I turned down for the same date because you reserved my time. I'm always happy to reschedule, but preferably within 30 days of the agreed shoot date.

I'm a lovely person, really, but you wouldn't believe some of the people I've dealt with. !grin!
