Well it's now or never!
I had an idea for a UK porn news site a few months back and I mentioned it to a couple of people, before I even had time to develop my idea Strictly Broadband announced there plans for strictly news.
Funny coincidence that.
So I decided to wait a couple of months before launching my site, , I was actually going to post this over the weekend, and just came to the forums to make said post and saw Mr Marks post about UK Porn Blog, (which looks really good by the way .
So in a way my timing could not have been worse ( or better?).
UKPornNews.com is a site I came up with for people in the UK adult industry to submit news too.
The way this website will work is simple, if you are a UK performer, producer, director, talent agent, web-girl, or adult orientated website and you have something that you want to promote then simply email me with the details and I will post your news on UK Porn News.
As for exactly what news you wanna send well if it?s something pertaining to your adult business that your excited about, or you feel people should know then it?s probably news!?Here are some of the things you might wanna submit to UKPornNews: DVD releases, upcoming shoots, personal appearances, website related news (including updates, new site etc), new performers, trade shows, events, columns, magazine layouts, magazine publications, new looks, photo-shoots, talent pairings, new companies, cable television shows and more, or it could be something completely different that is still very noteworthy.?If you choose you can send the information to me in form of a press release and I will post it on the site, or if you prefer you can just drop me a line that say's for example:
"Hey Layla this is ____ here, I will be at the full service gig on May 28th, so please put that on the site", or "_______ agency just put _____ on the site" and I will post that information for you.
You are welcome to send pictures and I will gladly post them here to accompany your news.
Personally I think that this site could be the start of a great thing, a perfect tool for people to promote themselves and there companies and products but obviously without any news submissions it's not going to work
So if you have something that you would like to promote no matter how big or small just send me an email UKPornNews@sbcglobal.net and I will post it on the site.
For the time being this site will remain in blog format, If the site becomes a success then I may change it to traditional website form at a later date but first of all I would like to give it some time to see if this is a helpful site that brings something useful to the UK market.

Well it's a pretty simple concept Spanky, the way I have set up ukpornnews.com to work is as a tool for those in the UK market, all anyone has to do is simply email me their or their production companies latest news and I will post it on the site, it is beautifully simple. Anyone in the biz can send me their news to publish and I will, porn-stars, producers, directors, online adult business, model agents, new performers, web-girls, magazines, trade shows etc etc.
ukpornnews.com is not closed to anyone as long as they are a part of the UK biz.
It's not a gossip site either, it's simply a UK news site.

Good luck with the site.

It's a good idea to leave it in blog format for a while. It's easier to update/maintain and there are some great custom templates out there.

ok cool I will post for you , I think the blog format works too, I may introduce some other features as time goes on, perhaps a couple of columns, a rude joke spot, you know that kinda thing but for now the emphasis is on news only.
I think www.ukpornnews.com has the potential to be a great little news straight forward news site, as long as people give me stuff to post, also I'm gonna put links up for the people who send me news.

What a daft thing to say. Strictly News took nine months of work to get live and was well under way before you ever contacted me.

Funnily enough, Kelly Steele also accused me of stealing her idea. Like nobody's ever thought of building a news site before!
