3 chip camcorder for sale

Hi Everybody
I am selling a Canon XL1 3 chip camcorder to help fund a film I am involved in. The camera works great but there are a few minor ailments with it:
1: The microphone holder has split. It's gaffer taped together at the moment but still works brilliantly. You can get a microphone holder with a shoe attachment but we've never got round to it.
2: There is no manual but you can get this from a website as a pdf.
3: There is an icon flashing on the screen but it should not be there. It is saying that the battery is not connected properly even when it is. It does not effect the recording and does not show when played back.
4: The shoe plate used to power the camcorder from the mains sometimes slips off if knocked. For this reason I always use batteries.
I have two 3-hour plus batteries and one 1-hour battery so never had any worries about power during filming my stuff.
Other than these ailments the camera is an excellent piece of kit!
Selling it complete with lens (16x not wide angle) and the 3 batteries for 850GBP. It was serviced 2 years ago and had a new circuit board fitted.
I am based in Derby so you can pick up if local or if further affield can post (obviously will have to charge for posting).
If interested email: popside.productions@ntlworld.com
I might stick it on ebay later so be quick if you want a decent bit of kit at a reasonable price.
Cheers
James
