Browsing over some of the reviews of films, I notice some are reviewed by readers/posters of this forum. How does one participate in this? Obviously their versions could be favourable on certain films, or are they independantly verified by Alec and gang to ascertain the validity of a film before 'making it' on the film reviews section? Im sure we all have a good stash of films that have only the star's name when looking up the review, so can 'we' send in our opinions and reviews for our fellow readers and their enquiries?

Send them in.

They are not independently verified, though if there are errors of fact that are obvious to us (or of spelling and grammar) these are corrected. As to opinions, they could be in favour or damning of a particular film, preferably giving the reasons for either, and in some cases alternative views are also published. However, we may decide not to put up any given review.

and as long as you put your name to it then readers can judge the review for themselves. Mind you any review with references to 'poncy US studs' might be a bit of a giveaway!! look forward to reading them Ace...

You can be assured of a totally unbiased view, regardless of whether any 'poncy US Studs' appear. And, in the very unlikely event Wendy EVER makes a duffer of a movie, you can be assured it will STILL get the 5 star treatment. Im no Barry Norman/Jonathan Woss, but I'll have a go.

I don't see how a reviewer could be UNbiased....we all have our likes/dislikes.
I do try to be objective, and to see things from the maker's perspective. BUT finally it's the customer who rules, and if the product is shite..........
