Hi guys I am looking to do my own filming in October and need to "feel the part". Does anyone have an old XL1s or Canon XM2 for sale...... Cash waiting for the right camera.

I wish I could find a cheap XM2... secondhand prices seem to by around ?600+ off ebay and you don't really know what your getting.

Canon are still selling them new for ?1300 even though HD cams are out just because they are a great product.

I've got my old XM1. Don't use her anymore but she's such a beautiful machine and caught such fantastic footage for me during the first three or four years of doing stuff that I'll never part with her. Got a XL2 that I've never used that much and need to put on eBay.

BTW Androm, I think the XM1 was actually a much better machine than the XM2. Yes, it had a more limited spec (you couldn't alter the sound levels etc etc), but the colours it recorded were totally to die for and it never blurred when you zoomed in, no matter how fast. And I preferred the fact that it was heavier.

I got a AE1 program is that any good ???

How much for an XM2? I may be willing to sell
