Leads me to think of Peenemunde, the WW2 German rocket test station.
Lets see:
Pee - self explanatory
Mund is the German for mouth. Munden (with an umlaut on the u) means flow.
With the cup highlighted in the photo I guess Katie pees in the cup and drinks the pee.

OK so you were showing off your literary knowledge!! My aunt had the whole collection of Katy books which she had on a shelf in her room.
I remember she gave them to a jumble sale whern she got married in 1956.
As for drinking pee, Katy is no Miss Ice then?
