Hi all
Just enquiring if anybody needs the services of an experienced videographer. Just gone over to HD and have 2 HD camcorders and HD editing facilities. Based in the East Midlands. Reasonable rates.
I'm also wondering if any girls, with their own websites, want HD footage shooting for the updates. Again, East Midlands based preferred.
Thanks
James

Hi
You'll have to give me a few days, I only finished the filming Friday, on top of that I've had to reformat my PC due to a virus. I recorded the audio on a seperate system so I am about to sync sound to video, but I could show you some shots (with the cameras audio). I'll try and sort something out in the next few days.
Anyway thanks for your comments and interest, Diceman let me know when and where you are filming your drama and I'll see if I can help out.
Cheers
James

Sounds cool. What cameras did you shoot on and what did you record the sound with?
I now always try to record the audio on the cam, I know that is sometimes a hassle on location but saves an age in post.
Having said that I started off as a location sound man recording on 1/4 inch tape on a Nagra 4.2 and loved not being plugged in to those smelly cameraman. Now I work as a cameraman I hate being plugged to the smelly soundman!

Hi
The camcorders I used were the Panasonic HDC SD1 it is a AVCHD camcorder, the picture quality is amazing. I used to shoot on a Canon xl1 and the Panasonic is 10 times better, regards to picture quality . The sound was recorded on a zoom h4 recorder, which is a mini 48-Track Digital Audio Workstation. The quality is unbelievable. I have gone from carrying around a heavy camera and microphones and leads, to a totaly digital camcorder and sound system that fits in a flight bag, and the quality is 10 times better.
I had problems at first with the editing of the AVCHD, but Edius pro 4 can convert it to editable full hd, so can Pinnacle studio 11 pro.
Cheers
James
