Who uses Verotel? - Cheque payment question

Without this turning into a thread about the merits of Verotel/Ticketsclub versus CCBill or Epoch etc, as many of you know Spuffco's members area has been live for about 5 or 6 weeks now and i've just received my first rather lovely payment from them.
The 'cheque' (slip of paper really) is in US dollars from Paymaster and doesn't look like something the average bank teller will have ever seen before. Anyone ever cashed one of these and had any issues?
If I turn up at my local Cardiff Bay bank with this I'll probably end up with some very strange looks and a few questions being asked.
Feedback greatly appreciated...
(I'm being paid by cheque rather than bank transfer to avoid charges)

Natwest charge ?5-10 per transaction to cash my dollar cheques in my account. I can cash a bunch of them at a time. But the clerks need to get to now your face. Some of the clerks are not used to the process of dollar check transaction. I find their processes don't seem to be consistent.
The paymaster checks I haven't cashed yet. I have found some checks actually incur another 50p fee!
Your account is different from mine if you don't have transaction charges.
The main thing is to have the correct name on the check and to sign the back.

Thanks for that. I'll see what happens in the morning when i'm stood in the queue sweating buckets and looking shifty.

Abbey charge me ?25 to pay overseas cheques in.
I still get the odd payment from Verotel and I use bank transfer, much cheaper for me.
Never had any problems with paying in overseas cheques though.

I use Barclays for mine (their terms were the most reasonable), and would echo much of the advice given above. The tellers at my local branch know me and know the drill by now.

Thanks for the feedback all.
The shiftiness comes from it being a cheque in US dollars but with a Netherlands address on it and Spuffco in large letters lol Lots of opportunity for questions to be asked, and I look guilty at the best of times :/
Damn this pornograsizing lifetsyle...

It can be as long as a month...but when the bank gets used to seeing these cheques, they credit your account with the money in the usual four days on the proviso they can claim it back if it bounces - well, that's what NatWest do.
