Why do some girls bother

Why do some girls bother with modelling.
We had booked Roxanna today, and we get a voice mail about 8am saying she is "ill" Yeah right after we get a text last night saying everything is ok, and does she need to bring shoes. 8 hours later she is so ill she cannot work.
I sent her a text with the following,
"Amazing how you can get so ill overnight you cannot work, do not waste our time again we had a feeling you wouldnt show"
What bothers us the most is the time we loose not the money, we have a mamoth schedule to keep us busy and my business partner travelled for 3 hours to get here.
So we decided to phone her and talk to her and ask whats making her so ill.
Only to get confronted by some effiminate dude, threatening to come down and kick the shit out of us for sending an abusive text. We are still waiting for him to turn up.
We have been in this business for 4 years and run over 10 sites and worked with alot of girls 99% have been excellent. It annoys me so much when people flake because the cannot be arsed to get out of bed.
Sorry about this rant but some peoples attitude stink. If you have this girl booked you may well need a back up.
We've been quite lucky and only had 4 no shows in 4 years but it pisses me off when we get a lame arsed excuse.
In the USA its so different, you have really good agencies and If girls dont show without a genuine reason then they kiss goodbye to working for that agency and others again.
Its about time the attitude to adult modelling in this country changed.
