Hi guys, I need some help on a country selection, I am looking for the lowest tax rates and little or no vat etc. Also a porn friendly place would be nice aswell.

My little websites have grown and are doing ok now but due to VAT and tax I am left with little or no money at all. I also want to be able to sell DVD's aswell because in the fetish world DVD's are still popular. I heard a lot of the big players moved to Spain or Portugal

Anyone who has moved abroad for the above reason and knows what would be best would be greatly appreciated and anyone who knows anything about it to.

Thanks for your help

Regards James

Spain or Portugal are good choices as they allow DVD's to be sold in any shop even though shop keepers might only pay 2 euros you can sell films by the bucket load. Tennerife is another good place to sell DVD's as again they don't mind porn sold in any premises & its one of the few tax havens we have left, if your British, Europeon or Asian your fine paying low taxes out there but no good if you are american (using the island for low tax & living in the States) as the IRS as a treaty with them to disclose any money the Americans earn which includes PayPal.
We have friends in Spain & Tennerife who fill up there vans & go to the shops cold selling their bits, sometimes the local cops want an handout if you are doing well (same if you have a busy cafe, bar etc) & if you treat them you do make more money as they get rid of any sellers not treating them.
We have all our family & friends here in Britain & love the green pastures otherwise we would have been out there ourselves years ago.

Spain is easy mate. Get yourself down to the Costa Del Sol, get yourself a nice apartment and have yourself a fantastic life.

I certainly did for the 2 1/2 years I was down there and whereas I am now back in the UK, I bloody miss living in Spain.

Macedonia is currently offering stonking deals on tax etc to foreign investors, (bugger all tax for 10 years).

Never been there myself but if they are like most of Eastern Europe they smoke like chimneys.

Supposed to be a stunning, cheap, country, which leaves the porn friendly question.

Tempted to say why move abroad when tax rates can be beneficial if your company is based there but you aren't. Or move to country A and run your company in country B.

Ireland offers zero income tax to 'artists'- although you will have to be economical with the truth about what 'art' it is that you do.

Check out Dutch company law as well- the Rolling Stones, U2 and George Harrison all ran business through there. Don't worry about the morality bit either- it is Holland, after all- and Harrison's company was called Ganja Distributors BV!

Thanks for your posts guys, very helpful info. Im not sure about Holland, I heard the tax rates for companies is about the same as UK.

Im not sure about Spain because there tax rates are high aswell.

Tenerife sounds great, I will look into that one further for sure.

Thanks again guys
