This is particularly aimed at George but anyone from UKAP is welcome to reply. Through all the comments about Terry's video of last Julys UKAP Porn auditions, including some aimed at me, I've maintained a dignified silence but, as I once said to Alexis May, I can't restrain myself any longer!!rant!

I was the older guy given just seconds to impress. Clearly I was the victim of a bit of ageism on the day (supposed to be a law against it) and was not treated with any kind of respect, even the guy taking everyones photos at the start looked at me as if he thought I shouldn't be there,
I expected better from UKAP who like to present an image of doing things properly.

Also would everyone please note that George most definately DID NOT have the courage to tell me to my face that my audition was "10 seconds too long" and kept well out of my way afterwards. From this comment he clearly had no intention of ever giving me a chance. Terry/George must think this is a great quip but it is cowardly and offensive and should be removed. Also I believe Terry was hoodwinked by a couple of guys who gave the impression they passed the audition when they did not in fact?

No doubt I'll be getting some more flak now - but whatever, I know from all my video work that I had every right to be there and have often put younger guys to shame . Sure feels good to get all this off my chest !pleased!

My advise to you is don't post this here as no one cares. Take it from me I know. Just get over it and move on - sounds like you are already getting on so good for you.

Hmmm I wont apologise to you personally Graham and I'm on the exec committee of UKAP. The reason why is ..well I didnt do anything but film the event as it unfolded on the day and while I can empathise with your feelings whole heartedly I felt I had a duty to show exactly what went on on the day.

George has been villified and hauled over the coals already with this here on the BGAFD and I have defended him on this as well.

I think it is important that lessons be learned all around with that video Graham but I see no point apologising if I dont feel sorry. That would be wrong. if I was really sorry I wouldnt have bothered with documenting and taking the time to edit that video.

The fact you have bought this matter up on the BGAFD forum wil be overlooked anyway as most UKAP members dont admit to coming on here anyway.

If anything I did feel you were given a harsh hand that day and this is shown in the final clip but thats the problem with reality based things like this: There is always going to be someone that is going to be unhappy with the results.

Look at the upside Graham. At least a lot of people are on your side on this one. If it makes you feel any better certain people have rallied to your cause within UKAP but this is not the sort of thing that would warrant a public apology. Well not from me anyway.

If you would prefer to take the matter up further, may I suggest you do it in the appropriate place.

On another note, I have heard from a reliable source that you have shined well on several shoots aside from the auditions.

Don't know you, but I heard you got a rough ride. You are right, in the UK there is a very "ageist", policy against both men and women. eg if you're a woman over the age of 28 you become a fucking, "Granny" or "MILF". God help you if your a guy over 35!

I've worked with top directors in Italy, who's work would blow out of the water 99.9% of all British directors and that includes myself and they have people of all ages in their productions. This is because they are moving with the times and unlike our people not stuck in a time warp of circa 1982.

Can you imagine the howls of laughter when I started jimslip.com 5 years ago? "What a middle aged man in a suit? It'll never work". I like the saying, "Revenge is a dish, best served cold" and I'm glad to say, most of the people that cackled with derision have gone down the pan! It's no coincidence that I received all the backing and support exclusively from Europeans.

So keep at it and make sure you email me your details as I'll have some jobs coming up over the next few months.

Perhaps someone from UKAP could explain why the footage was put onto You Tube in the first place.

To me it made no business sense whatsoever, any potential stud who could cut the mustard has probably looked at it and thought 'Fuck it, aint doing that now'.


I know there are a lot of wannabee's out there, but making others look foolish is not the way to weed out the ones that cant do it.
